what does it include?
client, audience, communication need, purpose, context, constraints, final presentation formats
Client
What is the company you are designing for? Is it a brand? Where are they located? What do they specialise in?
Audience/users
GALICS - Gender, Age, Location+Lifestyle, Interests/opinions, Culture, Socio-economic status
Communication need
What does your client require? What problems need to be overcome? Name three things e.g portable, easy to use and attracts gen z.
Purpose
DIG - A - PIT : to depict, illustrate, guide, advertise, promote, illustrate, teach
Context
the circumstances under which audience/users interact with the designed outcome. e.g an architectural model may be presented to the client as part of a pitch, poster may be displayed at a bus stop
Constraints
Client requests for certain typefaces, use of certain imagery, size restriction, cost restriction
Final presentation formats
e.g presentation board or 3d model.
