They’re responsible for pre-school, primary, secondary and special education. They also fund schools and pay teachers’ salaries

They deal with refugees and asylum seekers and is responsible for Ireland’s contribution to poorer, developing countries (this money comes from taxes)

They look after the finances of this country and set the rate for taxes (income tax, VAT etc.)
