The Constitution is a “living document.” What does that mean?
A “living document” means that it can change over time to fit the needs of the country/society/community.

Federalism is the constitutional system that shares power between the national (federal) and state governments.
How does an Amendment (change) to the Constitution get added to the Constitution?
It must be ratified by three-fourths of the state legislatures.
How does the president balance the power of Congress?
The President has VETO power that allows him/her to reject a bill.
