What is the definition of ability?
The ability to move and change direction quickly while maintaining control.
What is balance?
The maintenance of the centre of mass over the base of support.
What is cardiovascular endurance?
The ability of the heart and lungs to supply oxygen to the working muscles.
What is speed?
The maximum rate at which an individual is able to cover a certain distance or perform a certain movement.
What is Power?
The product of strength and speed.
What is Flexibility?
The range of movements possible at a joint.
Coordination
The ability to use different parts of the body together.
Reaction time
The time taken to initiate a response to a stimulus.
Strength
The ability to overcome a resistance.
Muscular endurance
This is similar to dynamic strength and is the ability of a muscle or muscle group to undergo repeated contractions.
