Describe the importance of having ethnic/cultural sensitivity

A

You should be sensitive when parents choose not to have surgery due to religion and culture. Even if you think it’s necessary, do not be pushy. Just accept it and move on. You may write recommendations and document that you have advised surgery but family chose not to comply.
