Not that of a building, but of people. The church consists of a group of people that believe in the leadership of Jesus.
What are some examples of faith in action?

What is mission?
An organised effort to spread the Christian message.
What is evangelism?
Preaching of the faith in order to invert people to Christianity.
What is a god teaching for faith in action?
‘Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead’
What can the church provide a location for?
The local community can meet, worship, pray, obtain spiritual guidance and socialise.
What does convert mean?
Someone who has decided to become committed to a religion.
How are christians persecuted?
- forced to pay higher tax
- prevented from getting good jobs
- imprisoned
- beaten
- murdered
- not permitted to build churches
- homes or churches attacked
What are some areas that persecute Christians?
- North Korea
- Pakistan

- Afghanistan
What does persecution mean?
Hostility and ill-treatment, especially because of prejudice against race, or political or religious beliefs.
