a small scale financial support like a loan from banks set up to help the poor.

creating new jobs/ types of jobs often in the form of factories - multiplier effect.

when a country of NGO (non governmental organisation) donates resources to another country to help it develop or improve people’s lives.
What is intermediate technology?
technology that is sustainable and must suit the needs, skills, knowledge and wealth of local people.
What is fair trade?
Sets standards for trade with poorer countries to improve their quality of life and gives them a fairer deal.
