Q

Universalisation examples.

A

Breaking a promise: borrowing money and not giving it back defeats the purpose of a promise. It can not be universalised.
Laziness: everyone can do it, but it is wrong. If everyone did it, natural talents would be wasted.
Suicide: not every sad person should commit suicide.

Q

2) Formula of the end in itself.

A

Is it exploitative? People are ends in themselves, not a means to an end. Humanity is the highest point of God’s creation, so should be treated with dignity. Eg slavery.
