How did USA actions help cause the Berlin blockade ?
West Germany and West Berlin were benefiting from Marshall Aid. GB and USA had combined their parts of West Germany to form BIZONIA, then TRIZONIA with the French zone. They introduced a new currency called the Deutschmark across Trizonia.
How did Stalin interpret America’s actions in Germany ?
The USSR believed that this was part of USA’s plan to rebuild Germany into nation and leave the soviet parts in poverty, now there was East and West Germany the West was more prosperous
Why did Stalin decide to impose a Berlin Blockade ?
By blocking road and rail links from West Germany into West Berlin Stalin hoped to force the USA into surrendering West Berlin to the Soviet Union

This would be seen as an aggressive act of war, also the USA had B29 bombers stationed in the UK that were capable of dropping an atom bomb on the soviets

Stalin was humiliated. The USA, UK, and France combined there zones into West Germany. Stalin set up the German Democratic Republic ( East Germany ) in 1949. NATO was set up in 1949. Stalin set up the Warsaw Pact in 1955
