Two sheets of white cotton which dont have any seams, one covers lower half of body, the other is worn over left shoulder, these clothes are called ihram
Why are the clothes the male pilgrims wear worn
- everyone looks alike, and it doesn’t matter whether they old, young, rich or poor
- a sign that everyone is equal before Allah
