THREE
T - tanha theee poisons ignorance hatred and greed are believed to be the cause of tanha craving
H - human beings are believed to be born with these negative qualities
R - roots also called three unwholesome roots
E - eliminate the three poisons and replace them with positive qualities of generosity compassion and wisdom
E - escaped samsara after escaped called an arhat
what is nirvana
BLOWING
B- buddha reached nirvana under bodhi tree his experiences shape buddhists belief about samsara
L - liberation from samsara and from three poisons
O - other perspectives some Mahayana buddhists believe we already live in nirvana
W - work theravada buddhists believe that attaining nirvana takes many lifetimes of hard work and spiritual progress
I -in this life first stage if nirvana is a psychological experience
N - next life parinirvana
G- attaining nirvana is the goal for buddhists
