presents new information in the format of a story.
Narrative organizers
present new or detailed information as opposed to making connections with previously introduced information
Expository Organizers
provides the learners with the opportunity to look for main or general ideas in a text, without going into detailed and exhaustive reading, over the information that is about to be introduced
Skimming
information which is presented in pictorial or diagrammatic form, use visuals to assist the reader to capture their meaning
