What are the dangers of making shorts?
Self harm and sharp objects.
What is needed to make shorts?
Fabric, elastic, pins, polyester thread, a container, chalk, measuring tools, a functioning machine, scissors, iron.
What does the stitch selector lever do?
It lets you choose which type of stitch you want to do. Best to leave it on Straight and Zigzag for simple projects.
What does the top dial on the front do?
It changes stitch width or needle position.
What does the dial on the side do?
It lets you manually operate the machine with your hands.
What is the middle dial used for?
It is used for making button holes.
What does the dial on the slider do?
It lets you change stitch length and also lets you back stitch if lifted.
What does the bottom dial do?
It lets you drop the feed dog.
What do you put behind the little hinged door?
Your bobbin inside of its case.
What’s good about woven fabrics?
They are generally pretty strong.
