Briefly outline what constitutes an antigen?
A
An antigen is a substance that is capable of stimulating an immune response leading to the production of an antibody in an individual lacking that substance.

Define the term antibody?
A
An antibody is an immunoglobulin produced in response to the introduction of a foreign antigen stimulated by the immunogenic part of the antigen. The antibody produced may result in removal of that antigen.
