Q

List and describe structures found in an amniotic egg

A

The amniotic egg must be fertilized within the body of the female. Once fertilized , the egg is encased in protective shell and is passed from the females Body. The shell is porous , permitting the exchange of gases between the egg and the environment but preventing excessive water loss. The tiny embryo grows atop a ball of stored food material called the yolk.
