The color Red stands for love, emotion and warmth. It’s the first color Jonas sees

The emotion associated with a world.
How does connotation play an important role in the Giver.
There society is without love and emotion and so the words that are used represent this. For example, New Child, Family unit, Dwelling, and Spouse.

Exaggeration usually to make a point

Slant rhyme is when things don’t rhyme exactly.
What are the two types of slant rhyme?
Consonance and Assonance

When the vowel is different but the end consonant is the same
What is assonance?
Assonance is when the vowel is the same but the end consonant is different.
What is enjambment?
Enjambment is when the sentence crosses over between lines or verses, in poetry.
