Who is Karl Barth?
He believed in neo-orthodoxy which is supernaturalistic because he believed in the resurrection and naturalistic because he appeal to nature. Instead of having God as God he had our faith as God. His view was subjective when ours was objective
What does demythologizing mean?
Idea by Rudolph Bultmann, eternal truth is there your job is to strip the myth and story away from it defined the truth.

- If the passage was taken literally it would make no sense
- Context behind the language may indicate that it is figurative
- The passage if taken figuratively maybe clarified by other passages on what the definition of the figurative language means
What does analogia fidei mean?
“analogy of faith” -The prophets words should match gods revelations. Consistency
What does sensus literalis mean
“Sense of the literature/writings”- Therefore scripture is perspicuous/clear, scripture interpret scripture
