What are the nine de-escalation strategies when dealing with domestic violence?
Explain your attendance, remain calm, pick a safe location, separate the participants, maintain control, distract, show empathy, remove one of the participants, and check for previous history
What is the definition of domestic violence?
It is any use of physical or sexual force, actual or threatened, in an intimate relationship, including emotional/psychological abuse or harassing behaviour
What offences are related to domestic violence?
Assault, sexual assault, murder, threats, criminal harassment, forcible confinement, mischief, damaging joint property, any other criminal offence

What is the employers obligation?
Basically if an employer becomes aware of abuser or believes abuse is taking place they have an obligation to take every precaution reasonable to protect employee
