Logical Function
A function that works with statements that are either true or false.
Financial Function
A function related to monetary calculations, such as loans and payments.
IF Function
A logical function that tests a condition and then returns one value if the condition is true and another value if the condition is false.
AutoFill
Copies content and formats from a cell or range into and adjacent cell or range.
Fill Handle
Appears in the lower-right corner of a selected cell or range.
Comparison Operator
A symbol that indicates the relationship between two values.
Principle
The amount of money being loaned.
Interest
The amount added to the principle by the lender.
Simple Interest
The interest is equal to the percentage of principle for each period that the money has been lent.
Compound Interest
The interest i applied not only to the principle but also to any accused interest.
Chart or Graph
A visual representation of a set of a set of data values.
Embedded Chart
An object in a worksheet.
Data Source
The range that contains the data to display in the chart.
Series Name
The first row of the data range identifies the data series.
Data Series
A range of values that i plotted as a single unit on the chart.
Category Values
The first column of the data range.
Series Values
The data displayed in the chart.
Value Axis
Displays the series values from the data series.
Category Axis
Displays the category values from each data series.
Chart Area
Contains the chart and all of the other chart elements.
Chart Title
A descriptive label or name for the chart.
Plot Area
The part of the chart that contains the graphical representation of the data series.
Tick Marks
Identifies the units at regular intervals on the chart axis.
Data Marker
the representation of each data series.
