What is football?
Football is a game where one team is trying to score on the opposing teams end zone, same goes for the other team.
What is football also called?

How can the ball be advanced?
Running with the ball or throwing the ball
How are points scored?
Carrying the ball over the opponent’s goal line, or throwing a pass into the end zone, kicking the ball between the other team’s posts, or tackling a opposing QB into their own end zone.
What are the forms of football?
High school football, college football, and professional football. Each follow slightly different rules.

The defense catches a forward pass, once caught, he can run with the ball.

When the offensive player drops the ball.
What’s a safety?
If the offensive player drops the ball, loses the ball out of bounds or commits certain fouls in the end zone.

When fouls occur, it usually results with a penalty, the penalty usually advances one team closer to the other teams end zone.
What’s the offensive line?
The offensive line (OL) has five players in a row, their jobs are to protect the QB and clear the way for runners.
What’s the quarterback
The QB receives the ball from the center on most plays, he tosses the ball to a running back, throws it to a receiver or runs with it. The QB is the leader of the offense and calls the plays that are signaled to him from the sidelines.
What are running backs?
The running backs line up besides the QB and is trained in running with the ball. They also block, catch passes and sometimes pass the ball to others or even receive a snap. If a team has two running backs one is called a halfback and the other is called a tailback-who is more likely to block
What are wide receivers?
They line up near the sidelines, and are trained to catch passes, they also block, sometimes.
What are tight ends?
They line up near the OL, they either catch the ball like wide receivers or block like the offensive lineman. Sometimes an offensive lineman takes the tight end position, this is called a tackle eligible
