what is unity
A
When colours or elements in a layout are similar to others on a page. This usually applies to colour, but could also apply to fonts, shapes or textures.

what is bleed
A
When a graphic extends all the way to the edge of a layout, so that it gets cropped right to the edge of the page. Creates a sense of realism.

A
Blank space on a layout which helps settle the eye and de-clutter the page. Does not have to be white!
