Asyndeton
derived from a Greek word asyndeton which means unconnected. It is a stylistic device used in literature and poetry to intentionally eliminate conjunctions between the phrases and in the sentence, yet maintain the grammatical accuracy.
Assonance
when two or more words close to one another repeat the same vowel sound but start with different consonant sounds.
Ballad
is of French provenance. It is a type of poetry or verse which was basically used in dance songs in the ancient France.
Blank verse
un-rhyming verse written in iambic pentameter. In poetry and prose, it has a consistent meter with 10 syllables in each line (pentameter); where, unstressed syllables are followed by stressed ones and five of which are stressed but do not rhyme

a special kind of novel that focuses on the psychological and moral growth of its main character from his or her youth to adulthood.

A Catharsis is an emotional discharge through which one can achieve a state of moral or spiritual renewal or achieve a state of liberation from anxiety and stress
Characterization
Characterization is a literary device that is used step by step in literature to highlight and explain the details about a character.
