The DMZ stands short for the Demilitarized Zone, an official border between North and South Korea, and it is a buffer zone. It is also one of the most heavily guarded places on earth, and very few people have escaped. It is one the 38th degree line latitude and it has two famous blue buildings where people from North and South Korea can speak safely, and it is known as the Joint Security Area(Pan munjon). It was made when North and South Korea became two different countries.

The four main islands in Japan are Hokkado, Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu(Happy Hippos Sing with KIttens). Hokkado is the one most North, Honshu is the middle, biggest island, Shikkoku is right below, and it is the smallest island, and finally Kyushu, which is the most south island. People want to live more in the coastal area of Japan since there is less elevation, and not in the center, where there is elevation, since it is easier to live in flatter, more fertile areas.

Earthquakes happen because when tectonic plates shift at their boundaries, they get stuck and build up energy, and then that energy is released, which causes a earthquake.
