Proximal: closer to point of origin or attachment
Distal: furthest from point of origin
Explain deep/ superficial?
Deep: farther from surface of the body
Superficial: closer to surface of the body
Explain ipsilateral/contralateral?
Ipsilateral: same side
Contralateral: opposite side
