What is democracy
Democracy is a system of government in which people choose their leaders by voting for them in election
What rules must the government and people follow
- every citizen who lives in the country has rights and freedoms
- every citizen must respect the rights of others and obey the laws of the country
- the government cannot do whatever it likes. It has to respect the constitution and the rights of the countryโs citizens

- to respect others the way you would like to be respected
