can cause severe congenital anomalies or abortion

HIGH IMMUNITY in the first 7 months; can have vaccine after delivery

can cause fetal alcohol syndrome (mentally deficient, congenital abnormalities, low birth weight); can also cause abortion and prematurity

Nicotine can cause vasoconstriction resulting in decreased blood flow to the placenta which in turn diminishes oxygen supply to the fetus. Fetal hypoxia leads to low birth weight
