Rule 1. The Chief is always RIGHT
Rule 2. In the impossible hypothesis that a subordinate may be right, rule one becomes immediately operative
Rule 3. Chiefs do not sleep, they rest
Rule 4. Chiefs are never late; they are detained elsewhere on more important matters
Rule 5. Chiefs never leave work early; their presence is required elsewhere
Rule 6. The Chief never reads the paper during working hours, the Chief studies
Rule 7. The Chief never curses or swears at Juniors; the Chief educates them
Rule 8. Whoever enters the Chief’s office with an idea of their own will leave with the Chief’s idea
Rule 9. The Chief is always the Chief, even in bathing attire
Rule 10. When in doubt refer to rule 1
