Why do you just know you will make a great flight attendant?
I believe that I’ll be a great flight attendant because I’ve been working in customer service for 9 years, where I’ve developed the necessary skills such as:
-effective communication with customers and coworkers
-adaptability when handling unexpected situations or challenges
-passion for helping others by creating positive memorable experiences
I believe I’ll be a great flight attendant because my diverse experience in customer service roles has equipped me with essential skills.
For example,
- I’ve been an effective communicator by successfully handling customer complaints as a manager at Caffe Amouri, actively listening to customer concerns and ensuring they feel understood and appreciated.
-I’ve also adapted to challenging situations, such as being short-staffed, by prioritizing urgent tasks, delegating effectively, encouraging teamwork among staff, and maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
- Additionally, I have a passion for helping others and creating positive, memorable experiences for guests, such as organizing special gestures for guests’ anniversaries at Hyatt Place.
How does Good Lead the Way, and how do you embody that in your own life?
To me, Good leading the way means embodying the values and characteristics that you want to see in others.
-Which involves setting a positive example through your actions, attitudes, and behaviors, hopefully inspiring others to do the same.
-In my personal life, I do this by showing empathy and supporting my friends and family, whether that’s making an effort to listen actively when they share their concerns and offer help whenever needed.
-In my professional life, I embody this by maintaining a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
-For example, as an assistant manager at Caffe Amouri I handle customer complaints with patience and understanding, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
-Additionally, I support my team by stepping in to help during busy times, which promotes teamwork and collaboration.
What is your plan if you are assigned a base in a city that you don’t currently live in?
If offered the position, how would you prepare to be away from friends and family for 7 weeks & limit your distractions that may interfere with your ability to pass training?
To ensure that I’m fully prepared for training:
-I will immerse myself in the learning process so that I’m able to absorb the material and develop the required skills.
-Additionally, I’ll follow a structured daily routine to manage my time effectively and eliminate potential distractions.
I also think it’s important to stay connected to your friend and family as they’re your support system. So with any available free time, I’ll make sure to check in with them.

I resonate with dependability the most
-In my personal life, I feel like I’ve always been the type of person that my friends and family could call in the middle of the night and trust that I would be there for them.
-in my professional life, where my managers know that they can rely on me, even on my days off, that I would be there
If offered this position I would continue to uphold these standards by ensuring punctuality, going the extra mile, and by being a team player.
How do you handle stressful situations?
In challenging and high-pressure situations,
-I maintain my composure and stay focused
-I draw from my training and past experiences so that I’m able to assess the situation carefully, identifying the critical tasks and prioritizing them effectively.
-Additionally, keeping open communication with my team to gain perspective and support would also help in generating an effective and swift response to a stressful situation.
