The growth of the teeth stop because the pulp cavity closes after sometimes.

What present in the center of the teeth ?
PULP CAVITY is present in the center of the teeth and they are lined by odontoblast cells.
What forms the hard chewing surface of the teeth ?
Enamel forms the hard outer covering
What is enamel ?
- Enamel is the hardest part
- Ectodermal in origin
- Secreted by ameloblast cells
What is cementum ?
- Also called Sharpey’s fiber
- Helps in the attachment of teeth
- With the advancement of the age cementum decay and the teeth fall off.
What provides hardening to teeth ?
Calcium phosphate provides the hardening to the teeth.
What are types of dentition present in the human beings?
- Thecodont
- Heterodont
- Diphyodont
- Bunodont
