Moves down into the mantle where it melts.

Pool of magma (lava) forms which RISES through the cracked in the crust called vents.
What happens when the magma reaches the surface ?
ERUPTS FORMING VOLCANOES.
What happens at constructive plate margins ?
Magma RISES into the gaps
How was the gaps created in constructive plate margins ?
Created by plates moving apart.
What is the result of plates moving apart at the constructive plate margins ?
FORMS A VOLCANO
When a volcano erupts what does it emit ?
Ash , gases and lava.
What can the ash do ?
Cover the land and block out the sun .
What is the result of ash covering and blocking land ?
Forms pyroclastic flow
What is a pyroclastic flow ?
Super heated current of gas , ash and rock.
What plate margins do earthquakes occur at ?
All three plate margins :
- constructive
- destructive
- conservative
What happens at constructive?
When they move away from each other tension builds up along the cracks.
What happens at destructive ?
Tension build when plates move past each other and gets stuckz
What happens at conservative?
Tension builds up when tension occurs and plates are grinding past each other and gets stuck.
