What is the autism protocol?
A
Routine brain w/o contrast + Hi-res T2 to look for thickened (left) hippocampus

What should we be looking for in psychiatric disorders?
A
Diffuse processes (ie diffuse vasculitis). Less likely to be focal, although a tumor of the 3rd ventricle can produce psychiatric symptoms
