A textile that are engineered to have better properties and uses

Example of technical textiles and their uses
A
•Conductive fabrics - allow small electrical current to pass through them. It is used in touch screen gloves
•Fire-retardant fabrics - They are more resistant to fires. They are used in furniture
•Kevlar - Tight woven fabric that has great impact resistance. It is used in racing tyres, bullet proof vests, gardening gloves.
Microfibres - they are very thin fibres that can be coiled to provide a warm, soft, absorbent material that can be used in winter clothes
