Controlling the weight on a particular support.
Body awareness
Kinaesthetic knowledge- what is moving where and how.
Control
Performing the actions with skill and sensitivity, and the appropriate muscular awareness.
Coordination
Controlling all body parts moving at the same time.
Dynamic awareness
How you move e.g quickly, gently, strongly, energetically.
Extension
Stretching into the space.
Flexibility
The range of movements in a joint.
Flow
How the energy moved from one action to the next
Movement memory
Remembering the order of actions accurately.
Posture
How the body is held when sitting, lying down etc…
Spatial awareness
Knowing where you are facing, the direction of the action and its size, level and shape.
Stamina/ endurance
Both muscular and cardio-respiratory.
Strength
Muscle power needed to perform an action.
Accuracy
Observing, interpreting, and reproducing exactly the actions you see.
