What does the principal do in a school?
supervise daily operations of a school to ensure that daily objectives are met and that the school functions well. This includes delegating tasks to staff; enforcing academic and behavioral policies, and ensuing instruction is aligned with the educational goals

supervise the principal in ensuring that the school runs smoothly.

they contribute to the curriculum, act as a liason between administrators and teachers, and are a leader among teachers
Why are teachers responsible for maintaining accurate student records?
It is to ensure you have a complete picture of the students’ academic and behavioral program within the educational program. This includes academics, behavior, attendance, medical history, and special education services. Specific procedures and policies must be followed as well. Records help teachers communicate productively with students’ family to develop and implement plans to support their achievement.

What does the fair use act do?
It allows teachers to use content for educational purposes
What are acceptable use policies?
policies that outline what behavior is acceptable for using educational technologieis and digital resources and the consequences if the rules are breached. It also states policies put in place to ensure data security and privacy of sensitive information.
How do teachers advocate for their students?
Teacher speak up for their students who need resources to achieve academic success. Students with physical, learning, emotional, and social disabilities need accommodations; students who are underprivileged need access to resources; students who are bullied need the bullying to stop and be in a safe space. Teachers may need to go so far as contact the Board of Education or professional advocacy organizations.
What are the legal requirements for educators regarding special education services?
Educators must provide students with disabilities FAPE in the LRE according to the IDEA. They must provide accommodations and supports as listed in their IEP and take notes of their progress. They must not disclose specifics of the student’’ IEP
What is a pupil personnel worker?
a person responsiblefor address barriers that stop at risk students from academic achievement. They make sure the student is support in and outside of the classroom.
