Tea cultivation is the mass production of a particular category or type of tea.

Continents: Asia and Africa
China, India, and Sri Lanka.
Kenya, Indonesia, Turkey, Vietnam, Japan, and Argentina.
Types of tea:
White, green, oolong, black, herbal/tisane, rooibos (caffeine-free from South Africa), and matcha tea (green tea crushed into powders).
When did tea travel to Europe/London?
16th century: Portuguese started transporting from China to Europe.
17th century: popular beverage in London
What is Devonshire tea?
A classic English afternoon tea - with the accompaniment of scones, jam, and butter cream. Also known as cream tea. The cream is mildly sweet alongside jam whereas scones are plain. It is a tourist attraction in the UK. Typically consumed in the middle of the day or the afternoon.
Where is tea grown in Australia?
Mainly Queensland and NSW, but also in Victoria and Tasmania.
What is optional accompaniment?
The option for a non-main food or drink to assist in the consumption of the main dish.
