The belief that everything has a soul, including inanimate objects.

An ancient Chinese religion that involves respecting your government and many other principles.
What is a Samurai?
An ancient Japanese warrior who dedicated their life to protecting royalty and their country.
What is a Shogun?
A leader and the commander of the Samurai.
What is Bushido?
A set of laws/rules which every samurai had to follow.
What was the Heian Period?
The period of peace in Japan also referred to as the Golden Age of Japan.
Who was Prince Shotoku?
A remarked leader of Japan who ruled from 574-662 C.E. who made a constitution involving Confucianism.
What is a Torii?
A tradition gate commonly used as the entrance to a Shinto shrine.
What is Daimyo?
A powerful feudal military leader in Japan.
