2
Q

Pyruvate DH

A

inhibited by arsenic; takes pyr–>acetyl coA (necessary for TCA cycle)
activated by NAD+, CoA, Ca2+

Q

isocitrate DH

A

regulatory enzyme in TCA cycle
if citrate is in cytosol, PFK1 will be inhibited (F6P–>F16BP)
meaning no glycolysis
Insulin prevents liver from being inhibited by this enzyme (glycolysis proceeds as normal)
