What is TBW and EBW?
Methods of authorising train movements through areas where two or more signals are defective.

As first train into a TBW section, what must you do?
Approach all points, switch diamonds and swing nose crossings at caution, checking they are in correct position.
Not pass over any crossings at more than 15 mph.
No exceed 50mph
Proceed at caution when assisting failed train etc.
What must you do at the exit signal TBW?
Hand RT3184 to hand signaller
Reinstate TPWS
Not move until handsignaller gives you permission
What is ESW?
ESW is instat3d when two or more signals have fail3d and TBW has not been set up?
What is a difference between ESW and TBW?
Handsignaller are not required. Instructions are given to the driver by signaller.
What is the code for the ESW ticket?
NR3190
