Q

What happens during the 3rd stage (maturity/remodeling phase) of inkless and camo healing?

A

This is where the stretch marks turn brown and this will start around the 4th day. This is when hyperpigmentation appears which indicates the stretch marks are about to heal. This lasts to 1-3 months but can heal as quickly as 1 week to 1 month.

23
Q

Why is it that sun can effect the healing time?

A

The serum is assisting elastin production which in turn effects the melanin production. When melanin in the skin is exposed to sun the rays it.may cause the marks to increase in hyperpigmentation

29
Q

What is the sign that the depth is correct during inkless?

A

The skin will appear pink and swollen. This can take a few seconds up to a few minutes. Pass through again if not going deeper

30
Q

What length should you move up to if you aren’t seeing the skin get pink and swollen?

A

1.5mm up to 2mm but never beyond 2mm!!!

31
Q

What can happen if you go way to deep??

A

Prolonged healing and chance of infection

32
Q

How do you know what size needle to use during inkless and camo?

A

It is determined by the size of the stretch mark

33
Q

What makes the procedure go faster?

A

Using a bigger needle

34
Q

If stretch marks are large what needle should I use?

A

Magnum 9 or bigger

35
Q

For thinner stretch marks what needle can you use?

A

A round liner

36
Q

In most cases what size needle do you use?

A

Magnum 7 and just adjust your body and hand movement depending of thickness and thinness of stretch mark

37
Q

When using a PMU machine what type of needles can you use?

A

Flat 7 needle

38
Q

What is the goal during sr to avoid more trauma?

A

Fastest time possible and fewest passes

39
Q

What are the 3 motions to use during inkless?

A

Circular, zig zag, and sweeping

40
Q

In which procedure (camo or inkless) do you have to be more precise with the needle?

A

Camo

41
Q

If thickness between stretch marks doesn’t really change is it ok to keep using the same needle?

A

Yes

42
Q

How many passes do you typically need to do in order to activate the collagen of the stretch mark or scar?

A

2-3 passes

43
Q

With thinner stretch marks what’s the best motion to use

A

Zig zag which is kind of straight with a little shaking

44
Q

For larger stretch marks what’s a good motion

A

Circular

45
Q

Where should the air hole be facing when tattooing

A

It should always be facing up/away from you

46
Q

What is the difference in hand placement during PMU and inkless?

A

For inkless you just stabilize the skin the hold down instead of stretch so you can still see the stretch mark

47
Q

In what procedure does angle not matter so much?

A

Inkless what matters is what you actually do on the stretch mark

48
Q

What matters when it comes to hand position during SR?

A

All needles need to be hitting the skin and air hole needs to be up

49
Q

When using a magnum needle where does air hole need to face!

A

It needs to face up in order for all the needles to hit the skin. It the air hole is facing the side then only the side needles will be hitting the skin which makes using a magnum pointless

50
Q

How fast should your needle be during inkless procedure

A

6.5-7.5

51
Q

What do you do once you are done implanting serum in stretch marks?

A

Put a layer of serum on top of the stretch makes and allow them to soak in it until end of procedure. Be generous with serum

52
Q

What does red light do for the skin

A

It is good for wound healing and stimulation of collagen productions and skin elasticity

53
Q

What does yellow light do for the skin

A

Gives a soothing effect helps reduce inflammation and lowers appearance of dark spots. Making it the ideal light for reds stretch marks and scars

54
Q

What is the percentage range for healing after one session for inkless?

A

20-80% difference

55
Q

How long do you wait to in between sessions for fast healing clients?

A

At least 1 month to give skin a rest and definitely until damaged skin in no longer darker than the rest of the skin

56
Q

How do you know when to stop doing sessions on a client?

A

If at 4 sessions you aren’t seeing improvement or if it stopped improving after first couple sessions. The
Client most likely maxed out on healing potential and you will need to perform new conceal

57
Q

What are the possible risks of inkless?

A

Infection, allergic reaction, prolonged or permanent hyperpigmentation only 1 in 100 does this occur. Some people are prone to discoloration for even simple things.

58
Q

What happens to the skin when tanning after inkless?

A

There is no risk once you are done healing. This is a inkless procedure and tanning and sun will only effect the melanin when healing as it may create more hypopigmentation and prolong healing

59
Q

What’s the difference between microneedling and NUE SR

A

Mirconeedling involves needles that are spread apart to creat micro damage on skin . While not causing enough trauma to stretch marks. In contrast SR employs tattoo needles that make it easier to target only the area of the stretch mark and to penetrate the skin deep enough.

60
Q

Is there a limit to how old a stretch mark can or scar can be?

A

No

61
Q

Is the serum fda approved

A

Serum is Vegan and uses all FDA approved products. They are FDA compliment and CE certified

62
Q

Is the serum hypoallergenic

A

There’s no such thing as a hypoallergenic treatment. We advise to do a patch test

63
Q

Will treatment work for everyone?

A

Results are based on persons ability to heal although we see our procedure effective on 80% of our patients

64
Q

Is there a difference in treating lighter or darker skin?

A

Darker skin is more prone to hyperpigmentation, in which case we are more careful with dark skin

65
Q

Do you perform more or less passes with light skin vs dark

A

With light skin you do less passes

66
Q

What is NUE clear

A

A stretch mark and scar treatment that uses a micro-needling technique to create micro damage in the skin stimulating collagen production. The skin has the ability to heal itself and if the damage is superficial the skin can easily recover. When the damage is the appropriate depth the skin can heal better than it’s original condition.

67
Q

What happens when a wound is too deep?

A

It creates a keloid or hypertrophic scar

68
Q

What is happening during NUE conceal?

A

We are creating control micro damage to the skin to activate collagen and elastin production

69
Q

What is a derma pen??

A

It is a tool used for microneedling that creates micro abrasions to the top layer of the skin

70
Q

What is a plasma pen?

A

Also known as fibro-blast pen

A plasma pen, also known as a plasma fibroblast pen, is a cosmetic device used in non-surgical skin tightening and rejuvenation treatments. It utilizes a technology called plasma, which is created by generating an electrical discharge between the pen tip and the skin’s surface.

During the procedure, the plasma pen produces tiny arcs of electricity that create small, controlled injuries in the skin. This process stimulates the skin’s natural healing response, promoting collagen and elastin production. As the skin heals, it may tighten and improve in texture, reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and certain skin imperfections.

Plasma pen treatments are often used for facial rejuvenation, including addressing crow’s feet, nasolabial folds, and loose skin. It’s important to note that while some people may experience positive results, the effectiveness and safety of plasma pen treatments can vary, and potential side effects or risks should be discussed with a qualified skincare professional or dermatologist before undergoing the procedure.

71
Q

What is hifu?

A

HIFU stands for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound. It is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses focused ultrasound energy to target specific layers of tissue beneath the skin, stimulating collagen production and resulting in skin tightening and lifting.

During a HIFU treatment, ultrasound waves are directed to the desired depth in the skin, causing thermal coagulation points. This thermal energy initiates a wound-healing response, leading to the production of new collagen and elastin fibers. The increased collagen helps to lift and tighten the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and promoting a more youthful complexion.

HIFU is commonly used for facial rejuvenation, including lifting the brows, tightening the jawline, and reducing the appearance of sagging skin. It is considered a non-surgical alternative to facelifts, with minimal downtime. As with any cosmetic procedure, it’s essential to consult with a qualified healthcare professional to determine if HIFU is suitable for your specific skin concerns and goals.
