Tarsal flexors and extendors Flashcards
What are the attachments of the cranial tibial m.?
Origin: Extensor groove of tibia and the cranial tibia lateral border
Insertion: Plantar surfaces of metatarsals 1 and 2
Innervation: fibular n.
What are the attachments of the long digital extensor?
Origin:Extensor fossa of the femur
Insertion: P3 of digits 2-5
Innervation: fibular nerve
What are the attachments of the fibularis longus (3 insertion points)?
Origin: Lateral condyle of the tibia, proximal end of the fibula, lateral epicondyle of the femur by the lateral collateral ligament
Insertion: the fourth tarsal bone, the plantar aspect of the base of metatarsals
Innervation: Fibulat nerve
What are the attachments of the gastrocnemius m.?
Origin:medial and lateral supracondyle tuberosities of the femur
Insertion: proximal dorsal tuber calcanei
Innervation: Tibial
What are the attachments of the deep digital flexor?
Origin: caudal aspect of the proximal two thirds of the tibia, the proximal half of the fibula, and the adjacent interosseous membrane
Insertion: Plantar surface of P3 of each digit
Innervation: Tibial
What are the attachments of the superficial digital flexor?
Origin:Lateral supracondyle tuberosity of the femur
Insertion: P2 of all digits on the bases, and the tuber calcanei
Innervation:Tibial n.
What nerve innervates tarsal flexors?
Fibular
What nerve innervates tarsal extendors?
Tibial
