A

Origin: The sacrotuberous ligament and the ischiatic tuberosity

Insertion: By the fascia lata and the crural fascia it attaches to the patella the patellar ligament, and the and the cranial border of the tibia. By the means of the CCT it attaches to the tuber calcanei.
