Exercise modifications for older adults:
avoid excessive heat, humidity, cold or windy environments for outdoor activities
wait a minimum of 1 hour after meals for exercise
wait 30 min or more after meds have been given, especially for early morning exercise
modify biomechanical load on joints for clients with arthritis, osteoporosis, etc
