Concentrating the effects of combat power at the decisive place and time to achieve decisive results.
What is the concept of Objective?
Directing every military operation towards a clearly defined, decisive, and attainable objective.
What is the concept of Offensive?
Continuously focused on seizing, retaining, and exploring the initiative.
What is the concept of security?
Never permitting the EN to acquire an unexpected advantage.
What is the concept of Economy of Force?
The allocation of minimal essential combat power to secondary efforts.
What is the concept of Maneuver?
To place the EN in a disadvantageous position through the flexibility application of combat power.
What is the concept of Unity of Command?
Unity of effort under one responsible commander. Practical application occurs through the use of the Commander’s Intent.
