What are the levels of PPV?
Stage 1 - Defensive
Stage 2 - Offensive. Fire is under control
Stage 3 - Offensive. Before committing BA crews
What operational roles exist when performing PPV?
Fan operator
Ventilation officer
Outlet officer
Rule of PPV?
If conditions are deteriorating or not improving, comms are compromised, the fans should be turned off.
Why should gas supplies be turned off before PPV ?
Prevent gas pilot lights being blown out
