What does the care act 2014 state the safeguarding duties that apply to an adult are?

What should you do if someone disclosed abuse?

Immediate evaluation of risk and take action to ensure no immediate danger
Contact LAS if needed

2 people stay with individual until police arrive
What is the maximum time for reporting a safeguarding risk or concern?
4 hours for immediate risk
24 hours for all other concerns
What information should be passed when making a safeguarding adult referral?
Name Address Gender DOB Relevant issues and circumstances Any children under 18 in the property? Does the person know you are raising a concern? Has the person given consent?
Who should be the only contact with the Social Services Department?
The BC or duty DAC dealing with the safeguarding

Who decides to override the right to confidence of a safeguarding issue?
