Massive Hemorrhage
A
- Place and/or double check Tourniquets
- Feel whole body, looking for bleeding on gloves
- Pack Wounds

Airway Management
A
- Talk to casualty (speaking indicates open patent airway; check LOC)
- Not talking: open and clean airway
- Look and listen for breathing
- Unconscious: OPA/NPA (otherwise put in recovery position)

Respiration
A
- Check for holes in the box (nose to belly button; remove armor)
- Bilateral rise and fall of chest (can feel both sides of chest)
- Apply occlusive dressing
- Difficulty breathing (Burp/NDC)

Circulation
A
- Check interventions (tourniquets/package)
- More thorough check of bleeding
- Expose
- Check pulse (first radial then carotid)
- Skin: color, temp
- Role to check all posterior (have carry all ready if available)

Head Injury / Hypovolemia / Hypothermia

- Cover pt
- check head/face for injuries (racoon eyes, leakage around nose and ears)
- IV/IO
- EPIC protocol (NRB, Normotensive, Airway control)
