Tabulation Flashcards
refers to the arrangement of any data in an orderly sequence, so that they can be presented concisely and compactly and understood easily
tabulation
reason for tabulation
- data are tabulated to Make them easier to understand and easily be appreciated
- process of classification
3 types of data for tabulation
Frequency distribution
correlation data
time series data
type of data for tabulation
data are grouped according to classification, where the sum of the entries is equal to the total.
It can be in actual numbers, percent or both
Scales may be qualitative, quantitative or both
Frequency distribution
type of data for tabulation
used to compare two or more frequencies

Type of data for tabulation
- Show the correlation with relevant events.
-if the correlation can be done by including certain indices for each year, the table will assume the characteristic of a correlation table
Time Series
PART OF THE TABLE:
should state the objective of the table.
- it should be clear, brief and comprehensive - what are figures in the body of the table stands for.
- how the data are classified, where and when obtained.
- should not be more than 20 words, if two or three liners should be indentend.

PART OF THE TABLE:
: this is made up of figures filling the cells or compartmts brought about by the coordinates of the rows and columns.
