What is a t lymphocyte?
A
detects and combats intracellular pathogens
sees foreign antigen via a receptor on its cell surface (TCR)
antigen seen is a small peptide fragment of the pathogen- the peptide is presented on an MHC molecule- on surface of host infected cell- self MCH + foreign peptide.
