Red guarded switches, once activated cannot be undone in flight.

Black switches are reversible.

Green: For normal system operation

Amber: A failure, of which the flight crew should be aware, but does not call for immediate action.
Red: A failure requiring immediate action.
Two dots: not in use/no function
White: For an abnormal pushbutton position or For a test result or maintenance information.
