What happens to AHRS without TAS?
Reverts to basic attitude mode. In this mode the associated EADI operates like conventional mechanical AH. Basic light illuminates as only indication of being in this mode.
What is Directional Gyro DG mode?
Selected after failure of flux calve or magnetic detector unit. DG is selected and red slave illuminates. DG slew can be used for small corrections.
Indication of Heading Mismatch?
HDG MISMATCH on FMA. Yellow HDG flag on both PFDs. Difference of 8 degrees or more.
Radio altitude Mismatch?
Displays RAD ALT MISMATCH in yellow on FMA. Continues to display RA in yellow
Radio Altimeter failure?
If one fails continues to display other one.
If both fail replaced by white dashes.
When is avionics fan inhibited?
Below 5 degrees on ground
What fans operate on battery?
Fan 1 will operate at 50% (fan2 backup)
How many avionics fans need to fail for caution?
2 fans and plane on ground.
